The Shanghai Maritime Exhibition Concludes Successfully | Witness Technological Achievements and Deepen Win-Win Cooperation!
Recently, Marintec China 2025—the international maritime exhibition widely regarded as a “global benchmark for the maritime industry”—concluded successfully in Shanghai. With the theme “Innovation and Cooperation: Jointly Promoting Sustainable Development of the Maritime Industry,” this year’s event attracted more than 2,200 companies from over 40 countries and regions.
This exhibition not only showcased Hailanxin’s flagship product—the operator console custom-built by our company—but also provided a deeper insight into industry development trends and fostered a shared understanding for in-depth cooperation and exchange with China National Offshore Engineering regarding the DP3 dynamic positioning system.
In the Hailanxin exhibition area, the driver’s console—carefully crafted by our company—became one of the main attractions, drawing numerous visitors to stop and inquire about it. The successful presentation of this product also highlights our company’s solid expertise and professional capabilities in the custom manufacturing of marine driving control equipment.
This exhibition allowed our team to gain a deep understanding of the “high-dimensional leap” currently underway in the global maritime industry, and we reaped abundant rewards. At the show, a series of cutting-edge achievements—including the world’s first 192,000-cubic-meter Type B tank LNG carrier with electric propulsion, domestically developed S-POD series marine pod propulsors, and ammonia-hydrogen fuel engines—were showcased in full force, clearly outlining a clear path for the industry’s green and intelligent transformation. In particular, the Energytec Future Energy zone focused on key areas such as alternative fuels and electrification. Amid this concentrated display of the world’s most advanced maritime technologies, China’s independently built polar icebreaker “Xuelong 2” stood out as a national strategic asset that vividly embodies this development trend. As the world’s first polar icebreaker awarded both “Smart Hull” and “Smart Engine Room” class notations, the “Xuelong 2” not only boasts bidirectional bow-and-stern icebreaking capabilities, easily breaking through ice layers up to 1.5 meters thick and snow accumulations up to 0.2 meters deep, but also puts into practice the core principles of low-carbonization, digitalization, and intelligentization through its independently developed innovative technologies.
Let us deeply recognize that decarbonization, digitalization, and intelligentization have become irreversible trends in the maritime equipment industry, and they also point the way forward for our company’s subsequent technological R&D and product upgrades.
During the exhibition, our core team engaged in an in-depth collaborative exchange with China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) on the DP3 dynamic positioning system. As the highest-level ship positioning equipment recognized by the International Maritime Organization—the “stabilizing anchor” of vessels—the DP3 dynamic positioning system ensures high-precision position maintenance for ships even under extreme conditions such as severe sea states and ice loads. It is a core, critical piece of equipment in advanced offshore engineering fields, including deepwater drilling and deep-sea mining.
The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on key technological challenges related to the DP3 dynamic positioning system. This exchange further clarified the direction of their cooperation. Moving forward, they will leverage their respective technological strengths and resource endowments to jointly promote the technological upgrade and market expansion of the domestically developed DP3 dynamic positioning system.
This trip to the Shanghai Maritime Exhibition is not only an important test of our company’s technological achievements, but also a valuable opportunity to grasp the pulse of the industry and deepen our strategic partnerships. Looking ahead, our company will continue to focus on the green and intelligent development of maritime equipment, constantly enhancing our core R&D capabilities, and making steady progress in the iterative upgrades of key products such as navigation control stations. At the same time, we will actively promote the implementation of cooperation with industry partners in sectors like China’s offshore engineering, driving development through innovation and pooling strengths through collaboration, thereby contributing even more significantly to the high-quality development of China’s shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment industry.
