New navigation device - electronic inclinometer - is now in the testing phase
Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. has independently developed a new marine navigation product—the HGEI-10 electronic inclinometer. Making full use of modern electronic technology, it can achieve multi-parameter acquisition, display, and automatic data processing, and transmit data to INS/VDR.
This product has now entered the prototype testing phase and is expected to be launched on the market soon.
The Role of the Electronic Inclinometer
Roll Period and Heel Angle, as well as other environmental data, are extremely important for monitoring the attitude of the vessel and its cargo.
The electronic inclinometer can assist crew members in decision-making to avoid dangerous situations; it can also provide effective data on the vessel during maritime accident investigations.
