Delivery of the 190,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carrier H1543 "Yu Yi"
On March 22, the 190,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carrier "Yu Yi", built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group Corporation, for Yumin Shipping Co., Ltd., was named and delivered. The electrical control part of the dual-fuel refueling system of this new energy vessel was provided by Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd., This is the sixth vessel in a series of twelve.
The high-quality products and services of Dalian Haien provided strong technical support and assurance for the shipyard, ship owner, and especially the main contractor, Guohong. In the welcome speech, the ship owner expressed sincere gratitude for the strong support and cooperation of all partners, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits and the Taiwan Affairs Office for their concern for the economic and trade exchanges between the shipping and shipbuilding industries across the Taiwan Straits. Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and all parties worked together sincerely, building a solid partnership. Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding will give full play to its leading advantages in the research and development and construction of green and energy-saving ship types, and will carry out more extensive cooperation with Far East Group Yumin Shipping and Anglo American Resources to make new and greater contributions to deepening cross-strait economic and trade exchanges.
"Yu Yi" is a new generation of dual-fuel powered vessels independently developed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding with independent intellectual property rights. The series of vessels use MAN B&W 6G70ME-C10.5-GI dual-fuel main engines, which meet the requirements of IMO Tier IV in gas mode and have the significant characteristics of "green, environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and safe".
Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. will assist Guohong Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Dalian) Co., Ltd. in maintaining its leading edge in the research and development and construction of green and energy-saving ship types, and maintaining its leading position in the golden period of new energy shipbuilding in the next 5-10 years. Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. will work with Guohong to make important contributions to the rapid development of China's new energy ships.
