1. Introduction
Our company has partnered with Praxis, a Dutch company with over 50 years of experience in designing and developing ship automation systems, to jointly develop the Mega-Guard series of ship automation control systems. These systems provide a complete solution for various vessels, with a core focus on monitoring and alarm systems.
The Mega-Guard series ship automation control system is an excellent automation control system suitable for small, medium, and large vessels. It can function independently as a ship's monitoring and alarm system, or it can be extended to include power management, cargo monitoring, thruster control, automatic navigation systems, and dynamic positioning systems.
2. Introduction
① The operator station is based on a marine computer with an embedded Windows operating system, featuring a redundant network workstation and solid-state hard drive. The configuration of the primary and redundant workstations ensures greater system stability and reliability.
② Distributed control units with independent process processors feature redundant network communication. The process processors are configured with corresponding signal input/output modules. Each signal input/output module has a separately isolated detection probe and a ground fault detection probe.
③ The extended alarm system is equipped with an LCD display with icon display and 12 backlit operation buttons. The extended alarm system also has a redundant communication network.
④ The entire system communicates via internal network cables, connected in a star, ring, or star-ring combination.
