SOC Battery Equalization System
In battery systems, inconsistent battery pack (stack) power is a serious problem affecting the use of the battery system. The SOC equalization system is a control system developed to solve this problem.
The SOC battery equalization system for flow batteries uses an active equalization method. It measures the power of the stacks, calculates the power difference, and charges low-power stacks using high-power stacks, thus making the stack power more consistent. Compared with the traditional passive equalization method, it has the advantages of high efficiency and energy saving.
