1. Introduction

The HG-FHOLNS-001 fog horn and obstruction light aid-to-navigation system is independently developed by Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. It is a sound and light aid-to-navigation marking system configured for offshore fixed platforms, mobile platforms, single-point mooring devices, artificial islands, and other offshore facilities. At night or in low atmospheric visibility conditions, the system can provide warnings to passing ships and aircraft through specific light and sound signals. The system is high-performance, stable, reliable, easy to operate, and intuitive. The supporting equipment mainly includes navigation lights, high-altitude obstruction lights, and main/auxiliary fog horns and corresponding sensors, etc. The specific configuration quantity and power supply requirements can be selected according to the size of the platform and relevant requirements.

4. System Introduction

4.1 Aid-to-Navigation System Control Cabinet

4.1.1 The protection level of the system control cabinet configured in this system is IP23.
4.1.2 The main power supply of the control cabinet (including the charging power supply of the battery) is single-phase AC220V, 50/60Hz, and the emergency power supply is DC24V. The power supply voltage output from the control cabinet to external equipment such as navigation lights and fog horns is DC24V.
4.1.3 The control cabinet receives a backup power supply from the DC24V battery pack. When the main power supply fails, the DC24V battery provides power to the external equipment, and a charging device for the above-mentioned DC24V battery pack is installed in the control cabinet.
4.1.4 The control cabinet sends the comprehensive alarm signal of the fog horn and obstruction light aid-to-navigation system to the monitoring and alarm system.
4.1.5 There is a fog horn control button on the control cabinet to send manual control signals.
4.1.6 The navigation lights and fog horns can be controlled on the control cabinet.
4.1.7 The control system inside the control cabinet generates the internationally used "Morse-u" signal required for navigation lights and fog horns. The encoding signal (built-in) of the solar-powered aviation warning light is flashing for 0.5 seconds, pausing for 3.5 seconds, and flashing 15 times per minute.

4.2 Fog Horn, Navigation Lights, and Solar-Powered Aviation Warning Light

4.2.1 The effective range of the fog horn is no less than 2 nautical miles.
4.2.2 The light source of the navigation light is an LED light, and the color is white. The minimum luminous intensity of each navigation light is 1400cd (range up to 10 nautical miles).
4.2.3 Both the fog horn and the marker lights can emit Morse code signals that meet the standard requirements.
4.2.4 The protection level of outdoor equipment such as fog horns, photoelectric switches, and navigation lights is IP56.
4.2.5 The light source of the solar-powered aviation warning light is an LED light, and the color is red. The minimum luminous intensity is 200cd (range up to 5 nautical miles); it is equipped with a solar panel and a battery, with a protection level of IP56, and the working mode is flashing red light at night.

4.3 Battery Pack

4.3.1 The batteries used in this system are maintenance-free lead-acid batteries.
4.3.2 The entire system (including one set of fog horns and four navigation lights) can still operate for at least 96 hours after the entire ship loses power with the backup battery pack.
4.3.3 The operating temperature of the battery is -10~45℃. The battery is equipped with a temperature sensor, and the control cabinet has a high-temperature alarm.
