On the afternoon of March 5, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, stated at the deliberation of the Inner Mongolia delegation to the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress that, "Green transformation is a process, not something that can be accomplished overnight. We must establish a foundation before we can break through existing obstacles; we cannot break down what exists without first establishing a foundation."
Achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a major strategic decision made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core.
