Record-breaking new energy shipbuilding! 61% of orders in the first quarter adopted green fuel
Global maritime carbon emission regulations and policies continue to intensify. Clarksons Research closely tracks the use of environmentally friendly ship technologies: In the new ship orders in the first quarter of this year, 61% of ships can use alternative fuels, setting a historical record (48% excluding LNG carriers). Among them, 10% of the ships can use both LNG and ammonia fuel.
