5. SOC Equalizer

In a battery system, inconsistent power levels among battery packs (stacks) significantly impact the system's usability. The SOC equalization system is a control system developed to address this problem.

The SOC power equalization system for flow batteries employs an active equalization method. It measures the power levels of the stacks, calculates the power difference, and charges low-power stacks from high-power stacks, thus achieving consistent power levels among the stacks. Compared to traditional passive equalization methods, it offers advantages such as high efficiency and energy saving.
