On May 21, 2021, the high-performance hybrid wind power maintenance vessel MHO APOLLO (ASA103), built by Yinghui Southern, successfully completed its sea trial.
MHO APOLLO has an overall length of 35.3 meters, a width of 11 meters, and a draft of 1.53 meters. It adopts a Volvo IPS and Danfoss DC hybrid power system. The sea trial passed practical tests such as speed measurement, stopping test, turning test, DP dynamic positioning, and motor 0 to 100% load acceleration test. The speed meets the contract requirements, the heading is stable, and the noise in each cabin meets the requirements of DNV specifications and the MLC2006 International Labour Organization Convention on Accommodation for Seafarers.
MHO APOLLO is a sister ship of MHO ASGARD in the same project. The construction of this series of ships started in July 2020. The successful completion of this sea trial took a total of 11 months. The ship is scheduled to be delivered to the shipowner at the end of May 2021, representing another successful achievement of Yinghui Southern in fighting the epidemic, ensuring quality, meeting deadlines, and ensuring delivery.
