In November 2021, Dalian Haien Gebhard Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. successfully applied for and completed the product inspection of the LNG gas supply and distribution system for a 190,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carrier by LR (Lloyd's Register). This vessel is the first of four dual-fuel bulk carriers with LNG supply systems under a general contract signed between Guohong Liquefied Gas Machinery Engineering (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (LGM Engineering) and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS). This is the second series of ship orders and the twentieth project for Guohong Liquefied Gas Machinery Engineering (Dalian) Co., Ltd. by Dalian Haien Gebhard Co., Ltd. for a complete set of LNG gas supply systems.

In June 2021, Guohong Liquefied Gas Machinery Engineering (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (LGM Engineering) signed a turnkey contract with Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS) for the LNG supply system of four 190,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carriers. This is the second series of ship orders between Guohong Liquefied Gas and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard. The complete set of LNG supply system equipment will be delivered to Waigaoqiao Shipyard in batches starting from March 2022. The ship owner is U-Ming Marine Transport Corp. (U-Ming), and the vessel is classed by DNV.

The Danish wind turbine maintenance vessel MHO APOLLO (ASA103) successfully completed its sea trials.

On May 21, 2021, the high-performance hybrid wind power maintenance vessel MHO APOLLO (ASA103), built by Yinghui Southern, successfully completed its sea trial. MHO APOLLO has an overall length of 35.3 meters, a width of 11 meters, and a draft of 1.53 meters. It adopts a Volvo IPS and Danfoss DC hybrid power system. The sea trial passed practical tests such as speed measurement, stopping test, turning test, DP dynamic positioning, and motor 0 to 100% load acceleration test. The speed meets the contract requirements, the heading is stable, and the noise in each cabin meets the requirements of DNV specifications and the MLC2006 International Labour Organization Convention on Accommodation for Seafarers. MHO APOLLO is a sister ship of MHO ASGARD in the same project. The construction of this series of ships started in July 2020. The successful completion of this sea trial took a total of 11 months. The ship is scheduled to be delivered to the shipowner at the end of May 2021, representing another successful achievement of Yinghui Southern in fighting the epidemic, ensuring quality, meeting deadlines, and ensuring delivery.

High-performance hybrid wind power operation and maintenance vessel ASGARD (ASA102) successfully completed its sea trial

On May 7, 2021, the wind power maintenance vessel ASGARD (ASA102), built by Yinghui Southern, successfully completed its sea trial. ASGARD has an overall length of 35.3 meters, a width of 11 meters, and a draft of 1.53 meters. It is the world's first vessel built by Yinghui Southern to adopt Volvo IPS and Danfoss DC hybrid power systems. The sea trial included practical tests on speed measurement, stopping test, turning test, and DP dynamic positioning, comprehensively testing and verifying the reliability and stability of the ship's power system. In addition, under 80% load power of the main engine, the deck noise of the vessel during the sea trial was below 60 decibels, and the noise in the wheelhouse was only 49.9 decibels, far lower than the contract requirements, receiving unanimous praise from the ship owner and ship inspectors! The construction of this vessel took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. With foreign ship owners unable to supervise the construction on-site, Yinghui Southern used a "cloud supervision" model, allowing the ship owners to monitor the construction process in real-time and comprehensively. Through the concerted efforts of all employees of Yinghui Southern, all major milestones of the vessel's construction were completed on schedule, earning praise from technical personnel both domestically and internationally. Currently, clean energy is being vigorously developed globally, and China's offshore wind power is experiencing a "rush to install". Construction vessels from both domestic and international sources are supporting the construction of China's offshore wind power industry. As the first domestic aluminum alloy shipbuilder to enter the European wind power maintenance market, Yinghui Southern will thoroughly implement the national goals of "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutrality", actively participate in offshore wind power construction, and always adhere to the core values of "integrity management, customer success, innovation-driven, and harmonious development".
